Horstemeyer receives SAE Award
Dr. Mark Horstemeyer, a professor in mechanical engineering, has been selected to receive a 2008 Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award. The award will be presented during the SAE 2008 World Congress and Exposition in Detroit, Michigan.

Professor and students won Best Paper Award
Prof. Sergio Felicelli and his students Enrique Escobar (now graduated) and Claudio Pita won the 2007 Best Paper Award from the American Foundry Society. Their paper “Simulation of Hydrogen Porosity during Solidification” was presented at the 111th Metalcasting Congress, held in Houston, TX, on May 15-18, 2007.
