December 11, 2015

In a recently released report, the National Science Foundation ranked our Mechanical Engineering department 27th in research expenditures among 271 Mechanical Engineering Departments in the U.S. The total research and development activity of the ME department for fiscal Year 2014 was $11.57MM.  The ME department was ranked 33rd last year and 55th the year before that.

“This ranking is just one of the ways to measure the impact and momentum of our department, so I am very proud of all the hard work of our faculty, researchers, students, staff and everyone involved in the research program in our department,” Dr. Mago said.
